Summary Report of the FIPMO organized Webinar on the impact of Covid-19 in Nepal 12 September 2021

FIPMO organized a webinar to assess the multifaceted impact of COVID-19 in Nepal and explore practical solutions across public health, economy, agriculture, education, gender equality, and logistics. Experts from multilateral organizations highlighted the pandemic's effects on health systems, livelihoods, learning outcomes, vulnerable populations, and social inequalities. The discussions emphasized the importance of stronger public health measures, equitable social protection, improved education recovery strategies, gender-responsive policies, and effective coordination among government, communities, and development partners. The webinar concluded with FIPMO reaffirming its commitment to providing expert, pro-bono support to help Nepal strengthen resilience and accelerate post-pandemic recovery.
