Membership Survey and Member Engagement
FIPMO conducted a Member Engagement Survey to better understand members’ expectations, identify areas for improved participation, and strengthen organizational engagement. The survey received responses from 27 members, providing insights into meeting participation, communication, fellowship, and members’ expectations from FIPMO.
The findings indicated some improvement in member participation compared with the previous year, while regular meeting attendance remained an area requiring continued attention. The feedback has helped identify practical approaches to making FIPMO activities more engaging, accessible, and relevant to members.
Key Areas Identified
Interactive Meeting Formats: Greater use of guest speakers, panel discussions, and open forums on relevant national and international issues.
Improved Communication: Regular digital updates to keep members informed about FIPMO activities and opportunities for participation.
Member Outreach: Personalized invitations and follow-ups to encourage members to participate in meetings and activities.
Accessible Meeting Venues: Preference for centrally located venues with suitable facilities and comfortable meeting spaces.
Fellowship and Social Interaction: Interest in shorter formal sessions combined with more opportunities for fellowship and interaction among members.
Hybrid Participation: Exploration of hybrid meeting arrangements to facilitate participation by members who are unable to attend in person.
Moving Forward
FIPMO continues to explore ways to strengthen member engagement through relevant programme content, improved communication, networking opportunities, interactive meetings, and flexible participation options.
The insights gathered through the survey provide a useful basis for FIPMO’s ongoing efforts to build a more active, connected, and participatory membership.
