Welcome to Official website of Former International Professionals of Multilateral Organizations (FIPMO), Nepal
Over fifty former international professionals of the United Nations Organizations, the World Bank, Regional Banks and other multilateral organizations got together in February 2014 in order to organize a group that would provide a forum to channel the expertise and experience of its members collectively for the benefit of Nepal and its people. The statute of Former International Professionals of Multilateral Organization called as FIPMO was signed in a General Meeting organized in January 2015. An Executive Committee was elected which started the process for the registration of the Forum and it was successfully concluded with FIPMO registered as an apolitical non- governmental organization on District Administration Office on 17 February 2016/05 Falgun 2072.
Objectives

Former International Professionals of Multilateral Organizations (FIPMO), Nepal’s main objective is to provide a forum for members to channel their experience and expertise for the benefit of Nepal and its people by means of both supportive and advocacy roles.
The secondary objective of FIPMO is to create a network to communicate on matters relevant to the experience of members in various countries in their respective fields. .
Specific Objectives
• Contributing its expertise and experience on matters of development and social interest in Nepal
• Providing network to communicate with each other, to organize social events and share experience relevant to their service in the United Nations and other multilateral organizations
• Promoting the work of the United Nations and other multilateral organizations through public and private sector institutions.
• Developing position papers on matters of topical interest in which members have experience and expertise, and disseminate them through media
• Networking with the international community on emergency relief and development issues so as to assists the government and community at the government and community at time of need.
• Inviting prominent personalities as guest speakers on real-time topics of mutual interest relevant to the development and relief activities in Nepal as well as global updates.
