On the Second Phase of the Self-help Repair and Maintenance Program of Shelter for Chepang Families with Home-based Gainful Activities, 13 families of Ramirang Danda village in Chitwan received a total of 26 Boer cross goats.
With the initiative and contribution of Dr. Surendra Bahadur Panday (FIPMO members and family).On the Second Phase of the Self-help Repair and Maintenance Program of Shelter for Chepang Families with Home-based Gainful Activities, 13 families of Ramirang Danda village in Chitwan received a total of 26 Boer cross goats. (Of the 13 families, eleven individual family received a pair of female goats (50% Boer) for raising. Two families received one each male goats (75 % Boer) and one each female goats (50% Boer). Keshar Agro Farm was happy to be part of the contribution and is in regular contact with the Chepang families as part of the after-support program.
Current update: The Goats are in healthier conditions, Growth rate is more than we expected. Breeding has started and we expect to get good results soon.
