The first FIPMO dinner was held on 12 October 2014 at Hotel Radisson. Thirty-one former professionals, their inspirations (spouses) and aspirations (children) attended the dinner. In addition, most senior of the FIPMO leaders, Mr. Himalaya Rana and Dr. Kanti Giri also attended the function, which was addressed by Dr. Govinda Pokharel, the Vice Chairman of the National Planning Commission
